This is something I wrote up a little while ago just as a kind of base line for what we need to know from the director(s).
Lighting:
Any area off the stage that action happens in?
Any areas other than the main stage area that need to be lit?
Do you want any solo lights/specials?
Colors? yes? no?
Stage:
How far back does your act go? (VERY IMPORTANT for both lighting and stage)
What do you want for your backdrop?
Do you need any curtains opening or closing?
Do you need to hang anything from the flylines?
Sound:
Any sound effects?
Need any mics?
Recording? (this is a techie question too)
Media:
Do we need any projection?
I feel like I'm lacking on sound, but say if I've missed something. We could either give a form to the directors with these questions, or just ask them, personally I'm leaning towards having the SM of each team just ask the director(s).
